What is our definition of swing trading? 
 
A trading strategy based on forecasting up and down market swings lasting from 15 minutes to a few days. 
 
 
How do we generate our trading signals? 
 
Our signals are based mainly on price (we do not use any indicator, except a moving average) and are fully mechanical. We use a 15 minutes pit session chart of the S&P500 future contract. 
 
We do not believe that complex mathematical formulae are necessary when developing a trading system. If the market does not move (higher or lower), we cannot make money with a directional system, even with the most complex formulae. It's as simple as that. 
 
To make money, you need: 
- to develop a sound methodology, 
- to be in the market: we don't know when the next swing will happen but if we are not in the market, we are sure to miss it, 
- to cut your losses, 
- to let your profits run. 
 
 
What is our goal? 
 
Our goal is to produce a profit of around 250 S&P points per year with low drawdowns (our target is a maximum drawdown of around 65 points). 
 
Our goal is to produce a 100 percent yearly return using 12500$ as starting capital.  
 
 
Are the signals profitable? 
 
Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future result. That's why we will not try to impress you with the nice and usual Tradestation report. We prefer to test the system forward and do it live on this site. As long as the system does not make a minimum amount of money, the subscription to the signals will stay free.
